Boru Batak is a single-origin coffee originating from the Lake Toba region of Northern Sumatra. The name “Boru” recognizes the women who oversee the farm’s operations and quality control. This coffee offers a full, syrupy body with bright acidity and tasting notes of cedar, leather, and butterscotch. The beans are sun-dried, triple-picked, and graded as a super-grade lot. Limited in production, it represents a carefully managed and distinctive Indonesian coffee.
