This Colombian single-origin roast comes from Finca Loma El Marcelo, a beautiful seven-hectare farm high in the mountains above Sotara in Colombia's Cauca department, where Panther Coffee has partnered with Israel Salazar for eight years. Just half of the farm is devoted to Castillo coffee at 2,000 meters, while the rest nurtures a diverse range of crops, including vegetables, beans, oranges, plantains, and sugarcane, alongside beehives and dairy cows, all sustained by a natural water spring. Washed and dried on raised beds, this coffee delivers an intense, bright, and fruit-forward profile with vivid notes of sweet orange, lemon zest, and graham cracker.
